We placed Brett with our buddy system to familiarize him with our educational environment. We met with his family once a month. Brett received English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). We frequented his classrooms and monitored his progress. After two quarters into the school year, Brett showed tremendous progress in reading and other subjects by the end of his school year. He enjoyed basketball, which in turn, built relationships with the team. His parent continued allowing our education team to be a part of her other children's educational success."
